The Guardian Premiere New Vashti Bunyan Track

The Guardian have now premiered a second new track from Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Vashti Bunyan's forthcoming album, 'Holy Smoke', which they describe as 'enchantingly bucolic'.

Nine years on from her last LP of new material, Vashti returns in October with 'Heartleap', a unique and entrancing collection of ten songs forming what she is adamant will be her final album. You can read full details of the album and preorder it directly from the FatCat store , where it is available in CD, heavyweight vinyl and digital formats, and also in bundled form alongside litho printed poster and a tote bag (exclusively via the FC store). Vashti fans will also receive 'Across The Water' as an MP3 instantly when you pre-order the full album. 

'Heartleap' will be released on October 6th via FatCat. It will be released in North America via DiCristina Records on October 7th Vashti is also undertaking a short tour in support of the album, with the following confirmed dates:
