In this issue, *Les Shelleys* were inspired by films they love, making a soundtrack-themed podcast in which they guide us through their favourite tracks from various movies, and tell us a little bit about them along the way. Les Shelleys self-titled digital album out TODAY in US/Canada; more tour dates announced

*Les Shelleys*, the vocal due of *Tom Brosseau* and *Angela Correa*, release their self-titled debut album digitally today in the US and Canada. The pair will be bringing their perfectly-turned harmonies and well-chosen repertoire on the road opening for *Mice Parade* along the US east coast this fall, and have just added a handful of shows in the pair's great home state of California to the jaunt.

*Les Shelleys* the album is a collection of tracks taken from a vast body of recorded works – beautiful, harmony-heavy voice and guitar arrangements of American standards and folk traditionals from various points of the last century. Home-recorded by Tom and Angie in Tom's LA villa using only a minidisc recorder and a battery-powered microphone, *Les Shelleys* is a close, intimate set of recordings, that focuses on the purity and sweetness of the pair's gorgeously intermixed voices. *Les Shelleys* will be released in the UK/Europe later this year.

Entire Frightened Rabbit show filmed for Revision3.com

The internet television site *Revision3.com* have just posted up the entirety of Frightened Rabbit's recent show at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco, filmed one night before their sold-out show at the historic Fillmore Auditorium.

The show is beautifully filmed and recorded and the whole site is set up very well, with the function to skip to a favourite song and a the video occupying a space on an entire frightened Rabbit themed page.

*Silje Nes* was recently filmed by the brilliant *Blogotheque* in Toronto on her recent North American tour with *DM Stith*, for one of their Take Away shows.

Silje performs a wonderful, stripped-down, acoustic guitar, voice and viola rendition of the track *Symmetry of Empty Space* (taken from her forthcoming full-length Opticks) outdoors in the sunshine. As the French-language website suggests, "the lights, the atmosphere was perfect for undressing this band's songs".
