The Guardian have premiered a second new track, 'Holy Smoke', from Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Vashti Bunyan, which they describe as 'enchantingly bucolic'.
Vashti returns in October with 'Heartleap', a unique and entrancing collection of ten songs forming what she is adamant will be her final album. You can read full details of the album and preorder it directly from the FatCat store , where it is available in CD, heavyweight vinyl and digital formats, and also in bundled form alongside litho printed poster and a tote bag (exclusively via the FC store).

"History is a circle so here's seven songs of the past/future/present of Gentle Friendly. From the ones we finished this year for our new record to the ones that got lost along the way, these songs are where we are, were and will be as a band in 2014 - it feels like we've come a huge long way. Sing new songs over the old ones."
